The South Trail Fire & Life Safety Bureau performs activities designed to reduce the risk of fire to life and property, thereby enhancing the safety of residents and visitors to the District. In 2023, the Fire & Life Safety Bureau conducted 10,834 inspections, 963 plans reviewed, 134 water flow tests, 18 fire investigations, responded to 114 incidents/public service actions, and completed over 187 hours of training.
