Peacock Rescue in Pine Manor
Engine Company 61 - B Shift
June 16, 2010

Following calls of a pet peacock stuck in a tree for several days in the Pine Manor neighborhood, Engine Company 61 conducted an animal welfare check and found that the peacock had flown down from the tree and was roaming the neighborhood.  Lt. Mike Hannon, Eng. Lazaro Llerena, and FF Bryce Hoffmann corralled the peacock, put a coat over his head to keep him from being frightened, and took him back safely to his pen.  All in a day's work!
