Plane Crash at Powerline Grade, South of Daniels Extension

Access was limited to the downed Piper Cherokee 6-passenger plane. ST 410 and 4, guided by MedStar to the crash site, traveled about 3/4 mile until the brush truck could travel no further because of swamp conditions. They proceeded on foot for another 3/10 mile until they located the aircraft.  South Trail personnel walked the three uninjured aircraft occupants to the brush truck and drove them to CFR Command.
