Famous Dave's BBQ Structure Fire
. . .
February 23, 2010 - B Shift
Dispatched at 16:20. Upon arrival at 16:21, Engine 61
found smoke coming from the southwest corner of the structure and
moderate smoke conditions inside a back dining room. Once power was
shut down, crews cut open the roof area adjacent to two electrical
boxes on the corner. Fire and charred wood were found at bottom and
top of the rock column at the southwest corner. Fire was
extinguished with no extension to the rest of the structure. ST-6 determined
that the fire started in and around the electrical transformers for
the exterior track lighting.
