Trash Compactor Fire - B-shift
Jetport Loop West - August 15, 2010

Smoke and fire coming from 20-yd. compactor on arrival at 18:28. Applied water to dumpster opening;
used winch on Rescue 63 to pull dumpster from the compactor, opened the dumpster and flowed two 1-3/4 inch hand lines, a booster line with "Scotty" foam and the "blitz fire" master stream. Garbage truck emptied dumpster onto the parking lot and firefighters continued to cool the pile and the dumpster. Cleared scene at 20:32.
