Ranger's Retirement...

Ranger, South Trail Fire Department’s accelerant detection canine, and his handler, Fire Marshal Craig Brotheim were honored at Ranger’s retirement party on May 17, 2002.  A team since 1993, Ranger and Fire Marshal Brotheim worked more than 300 fires in Southwest Florida, resulting in 43 arrests with a 100% conviction rate.

For their nine years of dedicated service, Ranger and Fire Marshal Brotheim received a Service Award from South Trail Chief Clifford Paxson and a Plaque of Gratitude from Captain Shirley Garrison, State Fire Marshal’s Office, Fort Myers.

Ranger enjoyed his cake and presents!
