The South Trail Fire Protection and Rescue Service
District operates four fire stations. Currently there are three shifts with 18 employees on
a shift (24 hours on duty and 48 hours off duty) who staff three engines, a 75-foot ladder truck,
and a rescue truck. In addition our department has a brush truck, a
small rescue boat, a reserve engine, and a reserve ladder truck . In the year 2004, our
crews responded to a total of 7,169 calls--an increase of 1,193 calls from
the total number of calls in 2003.
The Operations Division provides fire response, advanced life support
response, and special operations response with
specialized rescue equipment. Bottom of page
